Brewing news Canada: Lakeport Brewing launches retail partner store program to offer its brands in rural Ontario

Lakeport Brewing Income Fund announced on September 6, that Lakeport brands are now available at Ontario's 113 Retail Partner Stores. Retail Partner Stores serve smaller rural Ontario communities and are administered by The Beer Store.

"We are very excited to be able to give beer drinkers in smaller rural Ontario communities the opportunity to enjoy great beer at fair prices," said Teresa Cascioli, Lakeport's Chair and Chief Executive Officer. "Previously, many of Ontario's beer drinkers did not have the opportunity to conveniently buy our wonderful Lakeport brands in their communities. Now, responding to their emails, letters, and telephone calls, Lakeport brands, including the popular Lakeport Honey Lager, Lakeport Pilsener, and Lakeport Light, will be available to them where they live. This reinforces our strategy of listening to our valued customers," she said.

Lakeport Brewing Income Fund is an Ontario-based brewery focused on producing value-priced quality beer primarily for the Ontario take-home market. Lakeport produces nine proprietary beer brands. Its Lakeport Honey Lager is one of the top 10 selling brands in The Beer Store in Ontario. Lakeport has more than 160 full-time employees at its production facilities in Hamilton, Ontario. The fund's units trade on the TSX under the symbol TFR.UN (TFR stands for 'two-four').
