Bulgaria: Heineken Slovensko appoints new general manager
The general manager of a Bulgarian beer company was appointed General Manager at Heineken Slovensko. Zagorka's Dimitar Alexiev will take on his new post on October 1, according to Sofia News as of August 29.Alexiev was managing the Zagorka brewery for 10 years. In 1994, the company was privatised by Heineken International and the Hellenic Bottling Company.
Another Bulgarian beer brewery, Kamenitza, named a new manager Monday. Johan De Smet-Van Damme has been appointed General Manager, according to the company.
From October 1, he will succeed Andreas Seemller, who has been appointed as General Manager of "Apatin" brewery in Serbia. Johan De Smet-Van Damme was een working in Bulgaria in the last 5 years - first as Kamenitza Commercial Director, and as Marketing Director later.
