Brewing news China: Kingway builds advanced brewery in Tianjin

After the grand opening of Kingway (Shantou) on January 5th and the foundation laying of Kingway (Dongguan) on January 9th, Kingway held its ceremony on August 16, building a new factory in Tianjin Airport Logistics Processing Zone. The move marks the first step of Kingway out of Guangdong and towards the whole country and also a very important one for building Kingway into a nationally known brand.

The production scale of the Tianjin project is 400,000 tons with the total investment of about 100 million US dollars. The project is to be finished in two phases, the first is 200,000 tons, expected to open in the spring of 2006. Kingway (Tianjin) will become the largest, the most-invested and the most advanced brewery in Tianjin if completed.
