Hungary: Barley harvest nearly completed

Recent dry and hot weather in Hungary enabled a good harvest progress, according to HGCA. By July 28, the barley harvest was nearing completion and two third of the wheat has been harvested (against 10-30% cut last week).

Barley quality is correct with test weights from 61 to 70 kg/hl. Test Weights vary from one region to another inside a region due to the harvest date (before or after the rain).
