Malaysia: Carlsberg Brewery Sdn Bhd is the title sponsor of the NPC golf tournament

Carlsberg Brewery Sdn Bhd is again the title sponsor of the National Press Club (NPC) golf tournament to be held at Saujana Golf and Country Resort in Subang on July 9, The New Straits Times Press (Malaysia) Berhad communicated on June 9. The company’s executive director Chin Voon Loong handed over the challenge trophy to NPC president Ahirudin Attan at the club’s premises in Jalan Tangsi yesterday, marking the official launching of the tournament.

“This is a small token for our friendship with the Press. We are looking forward to also be part of the tournament next year,” he said.

Ahirudin, who is also The Malay Mail and Sunday Mail executive edi- tor, said NPC is committed to make the annual event more successful each year.

“This year’s tournament carries the family concept to strengthen the relationship between the media and the corporate community,” he said.
