Russia: Vena Brewerys net revenue increased by 27% in the first quarter of 2005
OAO Vena Brewery has reported a 20% increase of sales in the first quarter 2005. The brewery sold about 700 thousand hl of beverages in Q1 2005. Net revenue of the company increased by 27% and accounted for RUB 1316 million.
According to January-February 2005 figures, OAO Vena held 6% of the Russian Beer market. Analysts said the increase is connected to the merging with OAO Zolotoy Ural (owned by Baltic Beverages Holding). The juridical process of merging has been finished on May 1, 2005, however all financial results for the first quarter were summarized.
