United Kingdom: Greene King plc announced the acquisition of its shares

Greene King plc announced on April 28 that, Kleinwort Benson (Guernsey) Trustees Limited, as trustee of the Greene King Employee Share Trust, acquired on April 26 100,000 shares in Greene King and on 27 April 2005 212,023 shares in the company.

As a result of the acquisition, Tim Bridge, Michael Shallow, Rooney Anand, Mark Angela and David Elliott, who are beneficiaries of the trust, have acquired an interest in the 100,000 shares and 212,023 shares in the company. This brings the number of shares owned by the Greene King Employee Share Trust to a total of 314,483.
