The Philippines: San Miguel Food and Beverage reports 16% increase in Q1 net income
San Miguel Food and Beverage Inc. (SMFB) posted a 16% increase in its net income in the first quarter of 2025.
In a news release on May 7, SMFB reported a bottom line of P11.6 billion during the period on the back of consolidated revenues of P98.9 billion, up 4% year-on-year.

SMFBs food segment saw its revenues grow 8% to P46.3 billion, driven by high-teens growth in poultry and steady performance across the Purefoods processed meats, Magnolia dairy and coffee, and flour.
The companys beer business generated sales worth P36.3 billion, with domestic revenues at P32.0 billion and international sales at $74.9 million.
SMFBs Ginebra San Miguel Inc. posted revenues of P16.3 billion, up 8% year-on-year, supported by sustained consumer demand and efforts to reach a broader base of customers.
