USA: Beer segment story from the US remains mostly disappointing
The beer segment story from the USA remains mostly disappointing according to the latest US Beer data.
The overall Beer Purchasers Index is down slightly to 50 (from a year ago level of 51). The segments suffering the most remain Craft, and Premium Lights/Regular, while Imports are still growing but at a reduced rate.
Where positive gains were achieved was in Below Premium plus non-beer segments FMB/Seltze & Cider.
