USA: Latest US beer data rather disappointing with all categories below critical Index level of 50
The latest US beer data is rather disappointing with all product categories falling below the critical Index level of 50, except Imports, which at an Index of 55, is down 6 points from last year, RMI Analytics said in their September 5 report.
A continuing concern is the craft sector, down 12 points from last year, to an Index level of 23 (the lowest of all categories).
The only category improved over a year ago are FMB/Seltzers, which is further bad news for the beer segment.
