Vietnam: Heineken reaffirms commitment to further invest in the Vietnamese market
Heineken will further invest in the Vietnamese market in the coming time, Managing Director of Heineken Vietnam Wieste Mutters said during a meeting with National Assembly Vice Chairman Nguyen Duc Hai in Hanoi on August 30, VovWorld reported.
He thanked the Vietnamese legislature for its pro-business policies and expressed hope for continued supportive policies from Vietnamese ministries and agencies.
Vice Chairman Hai lauded Heineken Vietnam's impressive track record spanning more than three decades, saying that it has been instrumental in fostering Vietnam-Netherlands and Vietnam-EU partnerships.
He praised Heineken Vietnam for its practical contributions to environmental sustainability, social responsibility, and advocacy for "responsible drinking".
Mr. Hai offered assurances that the Vietnamese NA will support and create a legal framework conducive to the operations of both domestic and foreign businesses, including those from Europe. Vietnam will continue to refine its legal system in line with international practices and commitments and stay open to the firms ideas, he said.
