United Kingdom: Greene King plc has recently announced it will put responsible drinking messages on all its brand packaging. Old Speckled Hen will be the first Greene King brand to display the message: “Please take as much care enjoying our beers as we do brewing them. Drink Sensibly.” It will be seen first on Hen’s new can design, launched at the end of this month, The Publican said on March 22.

The Suffolk brewer follows in the footsteps of fellow brewers Scottish Courage and Coors as well as Diageo in using responsible drinking messages on packaging.
