USA, OH: Collision Bend Brewing Co. holds grand opening of second location in Euclid
Collision Bend Brewing Co. marked the commencement of a new chapter with the grand opening of its second location in Euclid, Ohio, on January 5. After years of meticulous planning and overcoming construction hurdles, the brewery-taproom-kitchen opened its doors to the public, adding to the industrial charm of the region, BNN Breaking reported on January 5.
The new facility, nestled next to an Amazon warehouse in an industrial park, boasts a 30-barrel brewing system, doubling the capacity of the 15-barrel system at the original Flats East Side location. Spanning approximately 25,000 square feet, the Euclid site incorporates a myriad of functional spaces, including a loading dock, milling room, and laboratory. While the taproom welcomed patrons today, the full production facility is slated for operation in the upcoming months.
While brewer Ben Northeim expressed his thrill for the grand opening, he will primarily oversee operations at the downtown location. The reins of the Euclid site have been handed over to Rory Schecter, who will ensure the smooth functioning of what is anticipated to become the hub of Collision Bend Brewing Co.s beer production for distribution. The original location, on the other hand, will continue to serve patrons with on-premise consumption.
The grand opening was commemorated with a kickoff party, where patrons were treated to a dozen core and seasonal beers. The menu at the new location is set to offer a unique culinary experience, differing from its downtown counterpart. Patrons can look forward to an array of small plates, greens, pizzas, handhelds, and a variety of sides. In addition to its signature brews, the taproom will also offer spirits and wines, catering to a broad spectrum of preferences.
