Ukraine: January-May beer production up 20.5% compared to last year
Ukraines January-May beer production amounted to 5.11 mlh hl, up 20.5% as compared to January-May 2022, Ukrpivo reported on June 19.
The increase is explained by the fact that last year production and sale of beer was banned due to the Russian invasion. In January this year the nations beer output was 15.2% below January 2022.
Compared to the first five months of 2021, the nations brewer produced 22.5% less beer this year.
2022 saw Ukraines beer output decline by 27.9% versus 2021 to 12.28 mln hl.
