Latvia: First-quarter beer output down 25%

Latvia’s brewers produced 16.108 mln litres of beer in the first three months of this year, down 25% compared to Q1 2022, the nation’s State Revenue Service reported.

Beer imports amounted to 20.139 mln litres, an increase of 3.4% versus the same period last year.

Total beer available for consumption in Latvia declined by 11.5% to 24.227 mln litres in January-March, the service said.
