Russia: Beer and beer drinks output up 0.2% in January-March

Russia’s beer and beer drinks output amounted to 17.8 mln hl in January-March this year, up 0.2% versus the same period in 2022, Rosstat reported on April 28.

In March alone, the volume brewed decreased by 1.6% as compared to March 2022 and grew by 19.6% versus February 2023.

Output of traditional beer was up 1.7% to 15.54 mln hl over the reporting period. Beer drinks and mixes volume decreased by 4.5% to 2.08 mln hl, the state statistics service said.
