Ukraine: Beer, malt output show significant decline in 2022

Ukraine’s brewers produced a total of 12.28 mln hl of beer last year, 27.9% below the volume in 2021, Ukrpivo reported on January 16.

The trade association’s data does not include zero-alcohol beer and brands with alcohol content below 0.5%.

The nation’s 2022 malt output was 164.8 thousand tonnes, down 24.6% from 2021.
