The Netherlands: Dutch brewer Heineken NV, which is in talks to lift its stake in Kingway Brewery Holdings Ltd. , said on Monday, January 24, it did not rule out taking a majority stake. "We have 21 percent and we are in talks over expanding that stake," Heineken spokeswoman Veronique Schyns said.

Asked whether the company wanted to lift its stake to 50 percent or more, she said: "That is not excluded."
