USA: Avery Brewing Company has released their 2005 special release schedule. This years release, which was previewed late last year by Ratebeer.com correspondent Matt Abdoney, features more special beers than ever before from the popular Colorado microbrewery.
On March 1st, and Imperial India Pale Ale called The Maharaja will complete the Dictators Series, which also features the Czar and Kaiser.On April 1st, a Belgian-inspired 5.5% abv beer called Karma will be unveiled for spring/summer. In May, Avery will mark its anniversary with Twelve, a beer billed as an oversized Saison by style.
The Demonic Series of Hellish Ales will be completed with the July release of Samaels Ale, an English-style strong ale and the December release of Mephistopheles Stout, which will be an 18% abv Imperial Stout, fermented with a Belgian yeast strain.
Avery also plans to unveil The Holy Trinity Crucified, which will be barrel-aged versions of Hog Heaven, The Reverend and Salvation. Release dates for these have not been set.
