Ukraine: Beer and malt production decline in January-February this year

Ukraine’s beer output totalled 1.98 mln hl in January-February this year, down 3.6% versus the first two months of 2020, trade association Ukrpivo reported on March 15.

Zero-alcohol beer and beer with less than 0.5% alc. by vol. is not included in the statistics.

The nation’s malt production over the reporting period amounted to 34,364.3 tonnes, 25.2% less than in January-February 2020.
