Ukraine exported 2.77 million tonnes of 2004 crop barley since the beginning of 2004/05 MY (July) until December 8, 2004, according to figures revealed by Ukraine's State Customs Service. APK-Inform analysts forecast that over the whole 2004/05 MY (July to June) Ukraine will export a record amount of barley - about 3.5 million tonnes. Because of crop failure, in the market year 2003/04, Ukraine exported just 1.52 million tonnes of barley.
