Chile: Compania Cervecerias Unidas S.A. (CCU S.A.), the largest Chilean brewer, announced on December 3, 2004 interim dividend. The Board of Directors approved on December 1 the distribution, with charge to year 2004's profits, of Interim Dividend Nº228, which amounts to Ch$27.00 per share (Ch$135.00 per ADR), totaling Ch$8,599,577,544. This dividend will be paid on January 10, 2005 and distributed among its 318,502,872 shares of record as of January 4, 2005. (US$1=CLP589.50)
