Denmark: The price of Carlsberg Pilsner, the core brand of the Danish beer giant, Carlsberg, is to be cut in order to recover the fall in sales on the domestic market at a retail level. The Carlsberg brand was hit by hard pricing competition this year. According to Carlsberg, from Monday, December 6 2004, Carlsberg Pilsner is to be sold for US$ 0.043.
