Russia: Q1 beer production up 2.8%

Russia’s beer output in January-March amounted to 16.2 mln tonnes, Profibeer reported citing Rosstat data on April 24.

As compared to the same period in 2019, the first-quarter beer production increased by 2.8%.

In March alone, the volume brewed increased by 4.8% as compared to the same month last year and by 19.5% versus February 2020.
