Ukraine: ZAO Obolon, one of the third largest brewers of Ukraine, posted a 42.8% increase in its production in October 2004 year-on-year to 56 million litres. In October Obolon brewed 43.2 million litres of beer a 39.4% rise compared to October last year. During January-October 2004 the brewery produced 470 million litres of beer, a 21.6% increase versus the same period last year.
In 2003 ZAO Obolon registered a beer output of 444 million litres that is 14.2% rise against 2002. This year the company plans to increase its beer production by 13.5%.
