World: 2017/18 barley production seen at 6-year low
IGC published their latest estimates this week and put world barley production at 140 mln tonnes, which is a 6-year low.
Production in main exporting countries is down by 7 mln tonnes compared to last year.
Ending stocks are at a 23-year low in 2017/18, the analysts said.
