EU: Malting barley markets alive again - analysts
European Unions malting barley markets came back to life on June 1st having taken a rest mid of this week after the latest US comments regarding tariffs, GrainCom reported.
Meanwhile the weather market takes over again. Scandinavia remains dry, rains that have been in the forecast hardly materialized and the weekend rains seem to disappear. The UK and Northern Germany wont see any rain neither.
Malting barley prices have increased by up to 5.00 EUR/tonne since the beginning of the week. Black Sea remains also dry which helps to keep up the whole grain complex.
