Brau Unions Austria noticed a 1% increase in beer sales between January and June 2002, totaling 2.3 million hl, a report from WirtschaftsBlatt newspaper reveals. According to the report, Brau Union’s profits before tax increased by 2% up to EUR285 mln in the first half of the year if compared with the previous year.
