Bulgaria & Belgium: Bell Aqua Forum to build a brewery in Triavna

A partnership between Bulgaria's Triavna municipality and Belgian company Bell Aqua Forum will build a brewery in the city of Triavna, Northern Bulgaria, according to Dnevnik, March 14.

The municipality will provide the necessary land plot and buildings while Bell Aqua Forum will deliver the brewing equipment.

The two partners are expected to sign next week a contract specifying the terms and size of their participation in the project. All paperwork for the registration of the joint venture should be ready by April 15.

The microbrewery, due to begin operation by May 24 2007, will start off with a daily capacity of 500 liters which will later increase to 1,000 liters.

The output will be marketed exclusively in the Triavna region. The Triavna brewery is not the only project of its king in progress.
