Brewing news USA: Anheuser Busch unveils plans for new Orlando attraction

Anheuser Busch unveiled its plans for Aquatica, which is set to open in March 2008, Wesh reported March 5.
Central Florida's newest theme park is promising water slides, animals and an experience unlike any other. Sea World said its new attraction would have more water slides made from giant tubes than any other theme park in the state of Florida.

Aquatica will be located on Orlando's South International Drive in Orange County.

During the grand unveiling of the project on Monday, Sea World bosses and animal care experts said they've worked especially hard to set this new park apart from others by creating more opportunities for people to swim with and interact with fish and other animals.

For example, as people slide down one of the tubes through a pool, that pool will be filled with rare, black and white Commerson's dolphins from South America.

Construction on the 58-acre site is well under way and upon completion will offer 36 water slides and 80,000 square feet of beaches surrounded by a tropical jungle.

Aquatica's water slides will include a collection of racing slides for family and friends, and will have real sand on its beaches.
