India: Lord Karan Bilimoria sees India as the biggest market for Cobra beer

Lord Karan Bilimoria, NRI entrepreneur and Founder of Cobra Beer, believes India will be his company's biggest market in the next three years, India Daily published February 6. "India will be our biggest market in three years," Bilimoria says in his book "Bottled for Business: The Less Gassy Guide to Entrepreneurship," released today.

Bilimoria, one of the ten youngest members in the House of Lords, aims to make Cobra into a one-billion-dollar retail brand by 2014. "We''re distributing in 50 countries, brewing in five and have new ranges of beer coming out. In India, we''re brewing in Rajasthan and Goa and have two more sites in the pipeline," Karan says.

Envisaging a bright future for Cobra in India, he says "sales there have rocketed 250 per cent. India is just booming."
