USA, SC: Fort Mills newest brewery 1873 Brewing makes its debut
Fort Mills newest brewery has made its debut. 1873 Brewing a nod to Fort Mills incorporation opened on May 20, WSOC Charlotte reported.
Co-owners Chris LaRocque, Brad Rice and Scott Coffey also head brewer are behind that approximately 2,700-square-foot space. Theyve invested just under $600,000 into the venture.
The brewery is located at 415 Tom Hall St.
The longtime friends knew they wanted to start a business one day, and kicked around a number of ideas before landing on the brewery. Coffey, a longtime homebrewer, helped tip the scales with his craft brews.
Were good friends, but all play a key role in what will be the success of the brewery, LaRocque says.
