Ukraine: Slavutych Brewery boosts net profit 39% in 2006
Zaporizhia-based OJSC Slavutych brewery, one of the major breweries in Ukraine, saw UAH 22.246 million of net profit in 2006, which is almost 39% more than in 2005, Interfax News Agency reported May 22.
According to the company's financial report, its net income from sales grew by 22% in 2006, to UAH 758.237 million. According to the report, Baltic Beverages Holding (BBH, Stockholm) holds a 92% stake in OJSC Slavutych. In Ukraine, BBH owns OJSC Slavutych beer and soft drink bottling plant (consisting of Zaporizhia-based Slavutych plant and its Kyiv-based branch - Slavutych brewery) and Lviv-based OJSC Lvivska Pyvovarnia.
