India: Associated Alcohols and Breweries Ltd announced 6% decline in net profit

Associated Alcohols and Breweries Ltd has announced a 6 percent decline in net profit at Rs0.30 crore for the quarter to Dec 2006, India Business Insight reported April 26.

Its sales fell by 29 percent to Rs15 crore, operating profit, by 5 percent to Rs1.30 crore and profit before depreciation and tax, by 2 percent to Rs0.80 crore. The company's equity capital was at Rs6.54 crore, share price as on 5 Feb 2007, Rs20 and price earnings ratio, 4.60. Its 52-week high/low was Rs25/3.
