USA: Current outlook for beer volume disheartening
The current outlook for beer volume in the U.S. is disheartening, as the overall NBWA Index dropped to 24 in October, RMI Analytics said in their latest report.
Every category fell below the critical Index level of 50, with volume declines across all segments. The only category showing improvement was Cider, with all other segments significantly lower than in October 2024.
Craft sales appear particularly sluggish; however, these figures do not account for on-premise sales or direct sales by brewers.
