USA: Latest beer volume data painting a rather disappointing picture

The latest US beer data continues to paint a rather disappointing picture, with the total volume picture at a dismal Index level of 31, where an Index of 50+ indicates a growth scenario, RMI Analytics said in their early October report.

Further bad news for beer is that all beverage categories are showing a decrease versus the year-ago volumes. The lone exception is FMB/Seltzers, which has improved over Sept.’23 but still well below the growth Index level of 50.
