Ukraine: January-July beer output down 3.9%
In January-July 2017, the volume of beer production in Ukraine amounted to 10.82 million hl, which is 3.9% less compared to the same period in 2016, according to a report published by Ukrainian beverage company Ukrpyvo.
An expert estimate of the beer production volume in Ukraine (apart from non-alcoholic beer with an alcohol content of less than 0.5%) for the seven months in 2017 totals 10.82 million hl or 96.1% for the same period in 2016," reads the report.
The company also said that the production of malt during the same period grew by 14.3%, to 192,100 tonnes.
As earlier reported, the volume of beer production in Ukraine in 2016 totaled 17.98 million hl.
