Ursus Breweries, the number two on the Romanian beer market, posted a 24% increase in its sales volume in the second quarter of the April 2006 - March 2007 fiscal year, after expanding the production capacity of its Buzau-based plant, Ziarul Financiar posted on November 13th.

The total sales increased in the first six months of this year stood by 13%, below the 17% pace seen by the market due to the limited production capacity.
