Russian brewer Ostankisky increased its beer production by 5% during the first quarter of the year versus the same period last year, the company reported. For the first three month the brewer output 10.53 million litres of beer against 10.03 million litres of beer produced in the same period 2002.
During the first quarter Ostankisky sold about 10.67 million litres of beer, 6% more than for the first quarter 2002. In spite of late spring Ostankisky results meat the companys forecasts.
