Brewing news UK: InBev plans to restructure UK sales and marketing teams

InBev UK is planning to reorganize its sales and marketing teams to bring these operations in line with the brewer’s global commercial organisational design which is currently being rolled out across all countries, the Morning Advertiser posted October 18.

The proposed new structure is likely to result in the expansion of the sales team and new job roles and responsibilities being introduced for a large proportion of the marketing team, including the creation of additional positions reporting directly to marketing director Devin Kelly.

Richard Evans, President of InBev UK and Ireland, said: “It is anticipated that these proposed changes may reduce the number of roles in some areas, which will be counter-balanced by increases in others where we need to strengthen our organisation.

“The proposed structure is subject, however, to consultation with all affected employees and until we have completed the consultation process we are not in a position to disclose specific details of the plans.”
