Uganda: Nile Breweries Ltd posted a 20 % growth over the last three years

Nile Breweries Ltd has registered a 20 per cent growth over the last three years, the Human Resource Director, Mr Kenneth Wanyoto, has said, according to The Monitor (Kampala) statement from September 22.

He told the Daily Monitor recently that over the past years, the company's sales have soared from 8 million to 12 million crates per year. He attributed the growth to the launch of Eagle Lager in 2002 and the improved customer care practices.

He said this year, the company will invest over $4 million (about Shs7.2 billion) up from $3 million (about Shs5.4 billions) last year product development.
