EU: Barley production forecasted to decline down to 55.1 million t

UkrAgroConsult provided in its Grain Market report of August 24 that barley price with delivery in August/September increased in Rouen by €1 - up to €107/t. Strategie Grains forecasts a 1million t decline in the EU-25 barley production in 2006/07 – down to 55.1 million t. In Germany, domestic barley grew by €2, presently reaching €108/t.
