Estonia: Selling of alcoholic drinks to be forbidden during night time
The Estonian Law on alcohol is to be amended in order to forbid selling of alcohol drinks at night time – from 11pm till 8 am. If the parliament will consent to these changes, the amendments will become effective starting with the next year, the Ukrainian Agency of Industrial News said July 24.
As “Business and Baltica” informed July 20, nocturne alcohol selling will be allowed only in bars, restaurants, hotels, airplanes and see ships.
In Latvia, such regulations were adopted few years ago. By this measure, Estonian authorities envisage to prevent abusive alcohol use and forwardly to reduce, for example, car accidents.
