Ukraine: SUN Interbrew started brewing “Stella Artois Non-alcoholic” beginning with July 2006
“SUN Interbrew Ukraine” this July started brewing “Stella Artois Non-alcoholic” at its brewery in Kharkov. Technical preparation took over 6 months. Company’s specialists designed a special formula making it possible to replicate with a full precision the genuine taste of Stella Artois in its non-alcoholic version. The novelty is prepared by driving the drought components in the initial mash from 16.0% down to 6.5%.
“Stella Artois Non-alcoholic” is 0.5% alcohol-by-volume. The concentration of extracts in the initial mash is 6.5 ± 0.2%.
“Stella Artois Non-alcoholic" will be distributed throughout the Ukraine but it will be especially concern the HoReKa supermarket chain. The brew will be rolled out in 0.33 and 0.5 l bottles. The label is based on the original design of “Stella Artois” label. The retail price will amount for about 4.40 UAH for a 0.5l bottle.
