Ukraine: Sarmat Brewery brewed 16% more beer year-on-year during May 2006

Brewing group “Sarmat” increased beer production by 16% in May (by 49,200 hl) up to 335,000 hl in comparison to the same period of 2005. “Sarmat” succeeded in the same month to increase beer sales by 3% (by 9,600 hl) up to 315,600 hl in comparison to May 2005.

During January-May 2006, “Sarmat” increased production by 18% (by 170,600 hl) reaching 1.14 million hl in comparison to the same period of the previous year. In the first six months of 2006 “Sarmat” increased beer sales by 7% (by 72,700 hl) to 1,045 million hl in comparison to the similar period of 2005.
