India: Good strategic decision for SABMiller to move in India

A move into the Indian market would be a sound strategic decision for SABMiller according to industry analysts.

According to Dow Jones, the reports would state that SAB are one of 5 prospective bidders in the running for a 51% stake in India's Mohan Meakin.

India would provide the potential of an emerging market for SAB's products while not carrying as high an entry premium as other regions such as China for instance.
