Australia: Foster’s Group Limited wins top grocery award
Foster’s announced that on March 26 FGL Wine Estates picked up the Sainsbury Impulse Supplier of the Year Award at Sainsbury's Annual Branded Supplier Conference.
FGL Wine Estates was one of only three suppliers to be recognised, beating off competition from all other suppliers across BWS, snacks, confectionery, tobacco and soft drinks to win the Impulse category.
In his speech, Mike Coupe, Sainsbury Trading Director said that the award to FGL Wine Estates EMEA was in recognition for "Outstanding sales growth; new and innovative ways of building total category growth; and great teamwork and service." He closed by saying, "Great service drives sales."
This award is a tribute to Simon Brook and Mike Bentley (Sainsbury Account Managers) and the entire FGL Wine Estates team in their commitment to provide the highest quality of service to our international partners.
