Brewing news Denmark: Carlsberg Brewery closure under analyst overview

Aside from a disappointing margin in Western Europe, Carlsberg's (CARL-A.KO) 4Q numbers are a bit better-than-expected, says Jyske Bank analyst Casper Albaek, Dow Jones Newswires posted on February 21.

Rates the stock at buy and may raise his 12-month price target of DKK420. Says also the company's decision to close its Valby brewery near the heart of Copenhagen came sooner-than-expected, and will result not only in a decent gain from the sale of some of the property but also in benefits from consolidating Danish beer production at its Fredericia plant. Carlsberg closed Monday -1.5% at DKK382.
