Russia: SUN Interbrew to construct malt-house in Siberia
SUN Interbrew is planning to construct a malt-house in Angarsk, South Siberian Russia, on the Angara River, AK&M Analytical Information Agency of Russia cited Company's President Joseph Strella reporting to journalists. The malting plant will supply the raw materials for a new brewery the first production line of which with a capacity of 2 million hl will be launched in 2008.
SUN Interbrew founded in 1999 is one of the biggest breweries in Russia and the largest in Ukraine. SUN Interbrew produces the beer in Russia under the brands Stella Artois, Beck's, Staropramen, Brahma, Hoegaarden, "Klinskoye", "Sibirskaya korona", "Tolstyak", "Volzhanin", "Rifey", "Permskoye Gubernskoye", "Bag Beer", "Pikur", "Premier", "Stalingradskoye" and "Piterskoye", and in Ukraine - Stella Artois, Beck's, Òaller, "Chernigovskoye", "Rogan" and "Yantar".
