Russia & USA: Ochakovo brewery increased its beer exports in USA last year
Russian brewing company Ochakovo has recently announced that in 2005 it increased its sales volumes in USA five times up to US$ 241 thousand. In 2006 Ochakovo plans to increase the sales up to US$ 500 thousand. Distribution contracts are already signed with three US companies.
Ochakovo has started to activate in the USA market since 1998. In 2005 Ochakovo delivered 114 thousand litres of beverages of which 45.3% was beer, 43.8% alcohol and 10.9% soft drinks.
